MIPsoft at SightCity 2016

From 18 to 20 May, MIPsoft will present at SightCity in Frankfurt, Germany, the biggest European show of assistive technology for people who are blind or have low vision. Come and visit us at booth E11.

We look forward to showing you BlindSquare, to answering your questions, and to listening to your feedback and suggestions. We will also show some accessories that can improve your BlindSquare experience. What’s more, you will have a chance to meet Ilkka Pirttimaa, developer of BlindSquare, and to see BPS, our indoor navigation system based on iBeacons. Install our free app BlindSquare Event to try BPS on your own iPhone. You will also be able to see Touch Mapper 3D-printed tactile maps and you can order your own custom tactile map directly from within BlindSquare Event. We are sharing a booth with Vistac, who offer iPhone training and sell the Aftershokz bone conduction headsets we recommend to use with BlindSquare.

We look forward to seeing you at SightCity!

BlindSquare Event available in all of Germany until 24 May

From today until 24 May, BlindSquare Event is available in Germany, giving everyone a chance to try all of the features normally available in the paid version only for free both in Frankfurt and anywhere in Germany. You can install BlindSquare Event on your own iOS-device by downloading it from the App Store. Please note that the Acapela voices are not available in BlindSquare Event. Due to a bug in the current version of iOS, it is not possible to use the same high quality iOS voice for both VoiceOver and third-party apps such as BlindSquare at the same time. You will either have to use the standard quality iOS voice or download the high quality version of another iOS voice in the Accessibility Settings of your device, if available for your language, and select it in the BlindSquare Event settings.

Enjoy BlindSquare event!
